He attended James Madison High School & was the candidate 2000 Presidential Scholars Program.

Jared's acting career was launched whilst he won Fox TV's Claim to Fame Contest in 1999 & appeared in Mutt's number one Teen Choice Awards. He is better known for his role when Dean Forrester on the Gilmore Girls, although he has had little roles within movies such as A Ring Of Endless Light, New York Minute, Cheaper by the Dozen, Flight of the Phoenix and House of Wax.

Jared is presently stellar in the WB series Occult.
